Hi Milosh, I'm trying to write a delicate and detailed explanation on a controversial topic that I need help with on this photo I have uploaded showing Bill Clinton speaking with Slobodan Milosevic: yamalama1986.deviantart.com/ar…

It is about Serbia's/the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia's claims during the Yugoslav Wars. In NATO countries such as my own country of Canada, in the media the Serb/FR Yugoslav side is often subtly presented as the clear villain in the breakup of Yugoslavia. However from what I have read from the Serb/FR Yugoslav and Russian point of view at the time and later, it is Germany that is presented as the main villain with the United States abetting it, saying that Germany sought to breakup Yugoslavia into smaller states so that it could economically dominate the Balkans.

If you could look over what I've wrote there and tell me anything that I wrote that is clearly wrong, please do so. I am especially interested in knowing if my account of the Serb/FR Yugoslav perception at the time is at least satisfactory.

Greetings, good to see that you like my work. And glad to see yours, they are very good and high quality !
Please keep on making good uniform art, i am currently making free pixel art military resources, i believe they will do good for your future military art, as i am planing on making US military in alt-history WW III scenario.
Due to the large verity of US armies would have to make then separately.

Pay a visit to pixel art album in my gallery you might find it useful.

Kind regards Milosh

Milosh, could you collaborate with some other DeviantArtists from the various republics of the former Yugoslavia to create a "Yugoslav History" DeviantArt group like that of the German-History group founded by Arminius1871 or Storia-Italiana founded by me.

I've seen some groups exist that kind of address the topic but all of them dodge the bullet, and they have crazy restrictions - like only Balkan users are permitted into the group or the group is on some narrow topic. If a group could exist for all people who are interested in the former Yugoslavia, including myself who is not of heritage from the former Yugoslavia, that would be great.

I recognize one thing that should probably be restricted if you or anyone founds such a group - have the time period for that history end at the time Yugoslavia was internationally recognized as having collapsed in 1991. Having the history go until the official dissolution of the SFRY in 1992 would make you have to address the ugly Yugoslav Wars, and people could get passions inflamed over those. Having the cut-off date in 1991, based on common consensus that that was the year that Yugoslavia fell apart, would solve that.

You know, your idea is something i was working on... I am very happy to see that you are interested in Yugoslavia SRFJ etc... I was considering to make special kind of work, one related to Yugoslavian war all the way till Kosovo war and 5th October (the fall of the Slobodan Milosevic regime). I have been working on finding people interested in the same, but did not had to to look in to it fully. I will be on the lookout and its good to preserve history, the Balkan has a lot of it, it would be bad to drop it down. Thank you for the moral and cheering up, this is something i  will defensively consider !

Yes, I would be grateful to help out and provide an outside perspective on it. I have no heritage to the peoples of any of the countries, but I am very interested in it - that might be valuable for adding material on the break-up of Yugoslavia and the Yugoslav Wars - as from my perspective no side in those wars were innocent or heroic, some individuals may have been heroic in literally defending their own people from attack, but the entire affair of the breakup of Yugoslavia and the wars after was a massive tragedy.

I've read up a lot on the founding of Yugoslavia, apparently Dalmatia that was the hotspot for Croat-Serb conflict in the 1990s back in 1918 was the most pro-Yugoslav pro-Croat-Serb friendship region of the former Yugoslavia.

I hope you do decide to found a Yugoslav History group, I will gratefully spread the word about it. :)

Well I made an alternate history flag of Yugoslavia from over here where I live in Canada that you liked. Now a DeviantArtist from Belgium just designed an alternate history Canadian flag that I find amazing, it uses the Canadian red ensign of 1957-1965 with a different canton than the Union Jack used in the 1957-1965 flag. It is a genius design, take a look: : althistoryguy.deviantart.com/a…

Hi Milosh--Andrich, thank you for favouriting the Sith Legion Stormtrooper concept art. I merely used a file you uploaded and changed some colours. I would really appreciate it if you could review the two new uniformed figure sets of historic uniforms of the heads of state and heads of government of the Tripartite Pact of the Axis Powers and consider favouriting them if you like them. The uniform sets have shown a new style adaptation of the original Tounushi-base figures in uniform designed to be strongly realistic. Having you as the founder of PIXEL-ARCHIVES favourite them if you believe they are good would be a great honour. :)

Here they are:

Personally I’m hoping to get this file some attention because I hope it can educate people interested in World War II uniforms in how Italian uniforms were like in World War II – which often are the least known and least depicted in films because of numerous complications involving them.

 Hope you like them. :)

I just pieced together some photographs of models of expanded universe Star Wars spacecraft for part of something that I am promoting, and hoping to work with elMengu to develop here on DeviantArt. Look on the description, I am doing a non-canon redo of the prequels. You will see that your country's early 20th century history is part of the inspiration for the non-canon prequels' story.

See here: yamalama1986.deviantart.com/ar…
